Responsibilities:
Our client is currently searching for a Senior Loss Control Representative who is interested in working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a virtual position with periodic travel. Candidate needs to understand principles of loss prevention for all lines of business with a special emphasis on Large Property exposures (>$20M TIV) for occupancies such as offices, apartment complexes and light manufacturing. They will be responsible for in-house consultation, sprinkler plan evaluations/analysis, and on-site surveys Will work closely with all disciplines to evaluate risk selection and drive strategies Candidate will be a valuable resource for internal and external customers providing training and analysis as required Assist with team referrals requiring intermediate to advanced fire protection competencies Participate in LC, IBU (Intermediate Business Unit), LBU (Large Business Unit) and Package team meetings as required Work-from-home virtual position that will require travel up to 50% throughout the US Candidate will be required to conduct onsite and virtual surveys Position can be filled at a level higher or lower than this posted position based on education, skills and experience of the candidate
Qualifications:
Four-year college degree with major in Safety & Health, Fire Science or Engineering preferred Possessing relevant professional designations or certifications such as CSP, CFPS, and/or ARM is highly desirable Preferred candidate will have at least 3-5 years of Loss Control large property/HPR expertise within the P&C insurance industry Must be able to review and analyze sprinkler plans, sprinkler inspection reports and fire pump test results to determine sprinkler adequacy Candidate needs to be comfortable with understanding risk for properties of significant size (>$20M) Must be able to conduct virtual surveys as needed as well as be able to physically travel by land and air as needed Candidate's initial territory would be East of the Mississippi River with travel to other states throughout the US
