Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for maintaining the building environment, environmental monitoring systems,
and controls; performing equipment maintenance functions associated with the monitoring of a laboratory
research environment; making recommendations to improve efficiency or operations; assisting in the
design of new facility HVAC and other monitored systems; working under minimal supervision on
complex projects; and executing independent judgment. This position is also responsible for the
processing and remediation of routine and nonroutine work orders for all facility equipment control
issues.

Communicates effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and Study Directors.

Punctual and reliable attendance according to MPI Research company policy.
Adheres to safety procedures at all times.
Possesses the ability to meet departmental expectations in all work assignments.
Remains properly trained in the use and maintenance of all tools/equipment utilized in daily
functions.
Possesses the ability to build customer allegiance with those supported.
Qualifications:
Grade 6:
BSCS and 0-2 years of relevant experience with Trade Certification; or
ASCS and 4-6 years of relevant experience; or
HS/GED and 7
years of relevant experience.
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions and including ability to learn a validated
system.
Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings,
weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.
Ability to work under specific time constraints.
