Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Scientist - Project Manager for our Bioanalytical Team located in Mattawan, MI.
The Associate Scientist - Project Manager is a liaison between customers and the operational unit and is responsible for monitoring the status of incoming and existing projects. This individual will frequently function as a Principal Investigator or Study Director, responsible for the development and execution of validation and sample analysis protocols/plans in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs), industry regulatory guidelines (GxP), and budgetary guidelines. This individual communicates effectively with both customer and internal staff. This individual may supervise assigned staff.
The following are the minimum requirements related to the Associate Scientist - Project Manager position.
PhD in relevant field and 0-2 years of relevant experience (preferred); or
MS/BS/BA in relevant field and 5-7 years of relevant experience (preferred); or
HS/GED/Associates and 10+ years of relevant experience (preferred).
Prior experience in a regulated environment.
Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under specific time constraints
